Official Statement: FC Pieterlen

Following a recent incident during a fixture between LET | le Tigre and FCP | FC Pieterlen, the ECL Staff Team has concluded its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the match.

After reviewing the available evidence, ECL Staff has determined that an FC Pieterlen player was using unauthorised hacks during the fixture. The use of these hacks provided an unfair competitive advantage by granting access to every available playstyle, allowing abilities and playstyles to be utilised that would not ordinarily be available under standard game conditions.

This provided FC Pieterlen with an advantage that could directly affect the outcome and competitive balance of the fixture. Such behaviour is a serious breach of ECL rules and the league's standards regarding fair play and competitive integrity.

Match Decision

As the use of hacks materially affected the fixture, the original result has been overturned.

The victory will therefore be awarded to LET | le Tigre, with the official ECL records being updated accordingly.

Disciplinary Action

The player responsible has been banned from the ECL following the conclusion of the investigation.

The ECL takes matters involving cheating, hacking and the use of unauthorised advantages extremely seriously. All participants are expected to compete within the same rules and conditions, with results determined by legitimate gameplay, teamwork and individual ability.

The use of hacks undermines the integrity of the competition and places other teams and players at an unfair disadvantage. As such, appropriate disciplinary action has been taken in accordance with the league's standards.

ECL Competitive Integrity

The ECL remains committed to providing a fair, competitive and enjoyable environment for all participating clubs. Investigations of this nature are undertaken to protect the integrity of the league and ensure that every fixture is contested on equal terms.

We would also like to remind all players and clubs that any suspected use of cheats, hacks or other unauthorised methods should be reported to ECL Staff through the appropriate channels.

For any questions or further clarification regarding this decision, please open a ticket and a member of ECL Staff will respond accordingly.
