Potential Situations

Player Disconnects During the Match

If a player disconnects, the game will continue without pause under all circumstances.

  • It is the sole responsibility of the player and their team to reconnect and rejoin the match as quickly as possible.
  • The referee will not revert any goals, fouls, or game events that occur while the player is disconnected.
  • Teams are allowed to substitute a player if the disconnected player does not return, but the match must proceed uninterrupted.
  • The referee will only record the incident in the match report, noting the time and context of the disconnection.
Action: Match continues without pause
Responsibility: Team must manage reconnection

Blatant Time-Wasting

Rule: Intentionally wasting time by deliberately kicking the ball out of bounds multiple times to run down the clock while leading is prohibited.

Examples:

  • Repeatedly kicking the ball out of play with no intent to continue gameplay.
  • Stalling play deliberately without engaging in meaningful actions.

Allowed: Passing the ball around, including back to the goalkeeper, as part of legitimate gameplay is acceptable.

Individual Offender: Red card
Multiple Offenders: Auto goal for opposite team upon review

Substitution Timing

Rule: Substitutions are only permitted at the end of a leg or the start of a leg. Midgame substitutions are allowed but:

  • The match will not stop or pause for a substitute to join.
  • It is entirely the team’s responsibility to manage the substitution quickly.
  • No goals scored during the substitution process will be reverted.
Penalty for Delays: No penalty, but match continues
Appeal Status: No

Inappropriate Behavior Toward the Referee

Rule: Players or team managers are allowed to make complaints and contact the admins to address concerns, but using inappropriate language, swearing at the referee, or making disrespectful comments toward the referee will result in severe penalties. Excessive complaints without valid proof will also lead to penalties.

First offense: Verbal warning
Repeated offenses: Suspension from next match
Appeal Status: No

Ball & Server Bugged

If the ball becomes stuck or unplayable due to a bug or glitch, the referee will:

  • Announce to both teams that the server will be reset.
  • Resume the match in a new server from the same minute the ball became stuck. For example, if the ball becomes stuck at the 20th minute, the new match will play 70 additional minutes to complete 90 minutes.
  • Goals scored after the reset but before the adjusted time does not count, even if scored during the resumed play.
  • The referee must clearly state the minute the match ended on the original server and log this in the match report.
Action: Server reset and time adjustment
Important: Log original end time in report

Fielding an Illegal Player

Rule: Teams must only field players officially signed through the league’s transaction channels. Signings made in private messages or unofficial channels will not be recognized.

  • Non-signed players are considered illegal and cannot participate.
Penalty: Automatic win for opposing team
Exception: If official system malfunctioned (requires valid proof)

Unauthorized Player on the Field

Stop the match and anchor the ball with :anchor.

If caught within the first 30 minutes of the game:

  • The referee removes the unauthorized player using :kick (user).
  • The player is issued a red card :rc (user) and their team continues with one less player.
  • Resume the match once the issue is resolved.

If caught after 30 minutes of gameplay:

  • This is not the referee’s responsibility to enforce proactively but the team manager’s responsibility to ensure compliance.
  • The match is declared an automatic forfeit for the team fielding the unauthorized player.
Before 30 min: Red card + player removal
After 30 min: Automatic forfeit

Checking Substitutions

Rule: Managers are responsible for ensuring the correct players are on the field and verifying substitutions are valid. If an illegal player (e.g., unregistered or unapproved substitute) is on the field:

  • The match may be restarted or the player may be kicked from the server.
  • Managers must notify the referee of any substitution mistakes within the first 10 in-game minutes.

Conditions:

  • If the referee is not notified within the allotted time, the leg will NOT be restarted, and the match will continue as is.
  • Managers are expected to check and confirm their lineups before the match starts and promptly report any errors.
Late Reporting: Match proceeds without adjustments
Appeal Status: No

Trolling and Disruptive Behavior

Rule: Players engaging in trolling behavior, including intentionally disrupting the game, wasting time for no reason, or creating distractions to annoy other participants, will face penalties. This includes any behavior aimed at undermining the integrity of the match, such as deliberately performing actions to frustrate the opponent or the referee.

First offense: Verbal warning
Second offense: Yellow card or team warning
Repeated offenses: Suspension from match and future games
Appeal Status: No
