In a night that will go down in IFA UCL folklore; mostly because no one’s quite sure what actually happened Chelsea triumphed over Tottenham in a chaotic final that featured more twists than a Sunday League highlights reel edited by Tarantino.
Chelsea’s road to the final saw them take down Italian giants Juventus, while Spurs managed to overcome a surprisingly salsa-infused Athletic Bilbao. But all roads led to The Final, where both teams decided to throw tactics out the window and simply embrace the chaos.
The hero? None other than the Mexican prince himself, Sxniic, who kindly donated a goal to both teams one a slick finish for Chelsea, the other an own goal so elegantly placed, Tottenham briefly considered signing him.
But it was British sensation 100xpixels who truly stamped his RGB-certified name on the match. With a goal that came from somewhere between Photoshop and pure instinct, he started the win and immediately asked if he could export the trophy as a PNG.
Final score? Chelsea 2 – Tottenham 1.
Match MVP? The scoreboard operator who managed to keep up.
Tottenham? Still waiting for Sxniic to sign the contact… from his own goal.
Another classic IFA final. FIFA could never.
