IN-Game Rulebook

Time Settings

After both teams enter the pitch, a random selection of two players will be given a configuration menu deciding the game length. For the settings you must choose the long time option (18 minutes). Failure in doing so will result in a restart of the current leg (game-half) [only if after match ended]. If a shorter time is picked the time to be played will be played in another match. However if it is a longer match and the referee notices before the match ends then they can decide to shorten the current leg or they can restart it. Clear abuse of this rule (using it intentionally to restart legs) will result in a season long ban for the individual/point deduction for the team.
Penalty: Leg Restart, Yellow Card To Offender

Last Man

Last man is a term referring to the denial of a goal scoring opportunity in which the last defender on the pitch fouls the last attacker in a 1-on-1 situation. Regardless if the in-game ref blows for a foul or not a TL official may deem it as last man if the ball is not won. A tackle key used to clear the ball also resulting in a foul on the player will not be seen as a last man, only if there’s a foul and the ball isn’t also cleared with the same tackle. A red card will be given to the attackers team as a result with no further hesitation.
Penalty: Red Card

Last Centerback

Much like the ‘Last Man’ rule this applies in a reversed scenario – when the attacker fouls a center back in a 1-on-1 situation to get a hold of the ball. This is deemed unfair play and will result in any goals scored from this not counting, the offender will also receive a yellow card.
Penalty: Disallowed Goal & Yellow Card To Offender

Red Cards

As a result of 2 in-game yellow cards regardless of leg a red card may be given to the individual. This means that if you obtain a yellow card in the first leg and another in the second you will be given a red card and told to leave the current game. Failure to leave will lead to +1 every half you play if you are red carded. Red card will see a suspension for 2 games in the current competition (Ex: red card in normal league does not translate over to a cup or another competition). Failure to leave the game after a red card after an extended amount of time will result in a 4 game suspension instead, it will also be an auto-goal every 45 ingame minutes they stay in the match.
Penalty: 2 – 4 Game Suspension // Auto Goal

Yellow Cards

As a result of 3 yellow cards in multiple matches given in-game or the referee a 1 match suspension will be given to the individual. This means that if you obtain 3 yellow cards within the season you will be suspended 1 match after the third yellow card is given.
Penalty: 1 Game Suspension

Mercy Rule 8GD

The mercy rule is a rule enforcing the game to be stopped after a certain goal difference is made. A team managing a goal difference of 8 goals will automatically win the match with no further action afterwards. (Ex: when the score hits 8-0 the team who scored 8 will automatically win the game, the game will be stopped regardless of leg).
Penalty: N/A

IN-Game Glitching

This can range from speed boosting to abusing throw-in techniques, such as the glitch which allows you to throw it to yourself, or even illegal glitch shots which prevent players from getting react. This isn’t around as much nowadays, however, it still appears from time to time. Any clear use of abusing game glitches will cancel out any goals scored from it, consistent (2 Different Occasions) use of these glitches will result in a red card.
Penalty: Red Card (Consistent Abuse)

Passback (PB)

Pass back is when a player passes the ball to their own goalkeeper who then picks up the ball with their hands (GK tool + R/F). There will be an yellow card given to the opposite team if this occurs. This rule doesn’t apply when the ball is chested (dribble + X) or headed (shoot + Q) but only when it’s passed via the legs.
Penalty: Yellow Card

Spacing

In the event that a goalkeeper experiences an auto drop of the ball or encounters any glitch that can be clearly evidenced, any goals scored from such situations will be deemed invalid and disallowed. The image below shows the limit of where a player may be positioned when the opposing team has a corner, the play may only go beyond the red line when the blue forcefield has disappeared. Spacing Rule Diagram
Penalty: No Goal

Corner Rushing

When a corner kick is awarded to the opposing team, it is important for the player rushing toward the ball to wait until the ball is kicked by the corner taker. Rushing prematurely will result in a warning for the first offense. However, if this action is repeated a second time, the opposing team will be granted a yellow card. This progressive approach ensures fair play and discourages any premature rushing during corner kicks.
Penalty: 1/2 Yellow Card

Kick Offs

During kick-offs it is illegal to pass the ball forward, the ball must be passed back in your own half of the pitch. The player passing forward will be subject to a straight yellow card.

It involves a defender getting behind a goalkeeper covering the goal from the goal line whilst the goalkeeper goes out in an attempt to rush the attacker. If caught, the defender may be subject to a red card (2 game suspension). Note: The goalkeeper won’t receive any punishment, only the defender.
Penalty: Red Card [2 Match Weeks]

An intentional foul is where a player fouls an opposing player intentionally, they will have to leave the ball, failure to do so will result in a yellow card to the player.
Penalty: Yellow Card

Knockout Games

If the score is even during a knockout game, it may commence to a third leg where the host of the first leg also hosts this third leg. In the rare event where the score is tied after the third leg, a penalty shootout or golden goal will commence hosted by the team that hosted the second leg, with a penalty shootout it will be five penalties the home side shooting first, with golden goal – the team who scores first in this fourth leg will automatically win the game.
Penalty: N/A

Third Party Softwares

A third party software is a software outside of Roblox that’s used to manipulate your game, this can range anywhere from VPNs (Virtual Private Network) to other applications that can be used to alter your ping or how you react to the ball in-game. Any software that alters your ping is strictly disallowed, however, softwares like FPS unlockers are allowed since they don’t foster any unfair advantage. Macros, programs that rebind your keys, are also allowed. Obviously exploits are also never allowed. Any individual being caught with any harmful exploit or program will be banned from the league.
Penalty: Replay Of Match, Ban To Offender

Teams must demonstrate good sportsmanship and a maximum level of competitive performance to remain in the league.
Penalty:
First Offense: Warning to the team.
Repeated Offenses: Possible disbandment from the league if the behavior continues or if performance does not improve.

Substitution Policy

Player Check: It is the manager’s responsibility to ensure all players subbed in are eligible. At the start of the leg, you have 10 in-game minutes to notify the referee if a faulty sub has been made (i.e., a player who should not be on the field). If this is reported within the first 10 minutes, the referee will restart the server and the leg will be replayed. If you fail to report the issue within the 10-minute window, the match will continue and the leg will not be restarted. If a player is substituted off the game then you can’t substitute that player back on into the game. If they are substituted back on they will receive a red card. This player will also count as a faulty sub. Substitutes must be informed to the referee before they are subbed with the correct positions.

Enforcement: If a faulty sub is discovered late, the player will be given a red card, and the referee will instruct the player to leave immediately, if the player fails to leave they will be given a 4 match suspension. Failure to comply will result in the game being stopped at halftime, the server will be reset, and another half will be played without that illegal sub. Failure to leave will result in a potential suspension.

League Rules

Jailing

A manager may jail you until a transfer window is opened which is usually at the start, middle and end of the season. Think carefully before choosing a team at the start of the season. Any jailing issues during a closed transfer window is between the player and the manager. The jailing rule can be applied if a player is; 1) banned from the team server 2) blocked by the manager or 3) not played 3 of the recent games. Remember to provide proof if you match any of these examples. [Instant release can be bought in tickets!]
Penalty: N/A

Hosts

In the fixtures teams may be marked with ‘(H)’ and ‘(A)’ tags – this indicates (H)ome and (A)way sides in the fixture. The home side is the team to host the game in the first leg, then the away side in the second leg. The away team can agree to keep the 1st leg host and not have to bring a new host into the 2nd leg.
Penalty: N/A

Stream / Referee

A match may not start under two missing conditions – a stream from the team hosting the leg & a referee present. Any clipped/recorded goals by whichever side may be counted if the referee approves. Any match without a referee present is 100% a fault of Tacky League, during a rare occasion where a referee is absent – the game may be played at another date/time.
Penalty: N/A

Alting to for example sign for another team is strictly disallowed. Anyone caught doing this will immediately be banned on their main & alternate account. If they are found to be alting during a match the match will be replay without the alter.

Any player caught switching and doing this will be suspended for a season.
Penalty: 1 Season Suspension

Mobile Players

Instances where mobile players have issues joining private links – thus having to be friended by the server owner to join is advocated by the league. If the server owner refuses/blatantly ignores requests to add the mobile player in order for them to be able to join – a red card in a form of unfair sportsmanship will be handed out to the server owner.
Penalty: Red Card

Postponing

Match postponing is only allowed during a certain time window, you may postpone matches up to 1 hour before the match is originally supposed to be played. A match may not be postponed to a date that is less than 1 hour later. To postpone a match two managers/assistant managers need to agree on a good time, if an agreement is not reached with the match unable to go through on the original time staff may suggest other solutions.
Penalty: N/A

Evidence Policy

Any evidence older than 14 days will automatically be inadmissible, this is to prevent blackmail and pressing out other individuals. Please make sure to, as a player or manager, have an active clipping/recording software active to prevent as many faults as possible.
